Russia’s Rostec may sell non-core assets for 10 bln rbl in 2016
MOSCOW, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- Russian state industrial corporation Rostec plans to sell non-core assets for about 10 billion rubles in 2016, Vasily Brovko, director for communications and strategic research at the company, told reporters on Tuesday.
“This is firstly, real estate and also sale of certain companies if their location or the functional factor is unprofitable, or sale of land plots,” Brovko said.
In 2015, the company earned 5.8 billion rubles from non-core asset sale. “In 2016, this activity will be continued, and decisions regarding non-core asset sale will pass to the level of holding companies,” a representative of the company said.
